Within the public call for translation and the field of publishing, 26 local projects have been approved.<\/strong>
\n<\/p>\n

On 7 June, the \u2018Novi Sad \u2013 European Capital of Culture\u2019 Foundation initiated a public call for co-financing projects in culture, which contributes to strengthening the contemporary Novi Sad cultural scene regarding translation and the field of publishing<\/strong> in 2021. The aim is to enrich literary programmes, strengthen the publishing scene and provide publications of translations of local authors, in bilingual and anthology editions, thus promoting the \u2018Novi Sad \u2013 European Capital of Culture\u2019 project.<\/a><\/p>\n

In addition to this, the call also adds to developing literary and publishing scene and providing the opportunity of cooperation on European projects, contributing to visibility of local authors and topics regarding European culture.<\/strong> Applicants had to choose one thematic unit, i.e., one programme arche (Do\u010dek, Other? Europe, Migrations, Fortress of Peace, Future of Europe, Heroines, The Danube Sea, Kaleidoscope of Culture) or the programme stream Visit Novi Sad.<\/a><\/p>\n

The provided amount per grant is 800,000 dinars maximum.<\/p>\n
