After the premiere held in Ni\u0161, the \u2018Toma\u2019 film directed by Dragan Bjelogrli\u0107 will premiere in Novi Sad under the stars, at the main stage of the \u2018Obnova\u2019 Film Festival (in front of the Czech Magazine) in Creative District, on 5 September, the last day of the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, at 8 p.m. <\/strong><\/p>

The film about Toma Zdravkovi\u0107, the symbol of Serbian soul music, will be made grander with the group of actors, who will greet visitors of the Novi Sad Kaleidoscope of Culture.<\/p>

The \u2018Toma\u2019 film presents the impressionist portrait of Toma Zdravkovi\u0107, which shows his beginnings, the peak of his career, his love that inspired him while composing some of his greatest hits, as well as his relationship with numerous friends he had in the art circle of the former Yugoslavia. In addition to Toma, the film presents lives of famous artists of that time, such as Zoran Radmilovi\u0107, Mika Anti\u0107, Tozovac, and others.<\/strong><\/p>

The film features artists Milan Mari\u0107, Tamara Dragi\u010devi\u0107, Petar Ben\u010dina, Andrija Kuzmanovi\u0107, Sanja Markovi\u0107, Paulina Manov, Milan Kolak, Mirjana Karanovi\u0107, and others.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/section>\r\n\t\t\t\t

The \u2018Obnova\u2019 Film Festival<\/strong>, within which the audience will watch the \u2018Toma\u2019 film, will be held for the second time in Novi Sad, while the fans of the seventh art will have a chance to see the greatest films of Serbian cinematography at three stages in Creative District (Obnova, Kolosek and Pogon). Four days of the gala opening in Creative District<\/a>, at the site of Great Liman, will be an overture to the five weeks of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, form 2 September until 8 October. Within five arts \u2013 architecture, literature, visual, applied and performing arts, programme will be held across Novi Sad.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\r\n\t\t<\/section>\r\n\t\t\t\t

Ars Electronica from Linz<\/strong>, the national pavilion of one of the most important European institutions for new media, will be presented during the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, within which the \u2018Differences: Garden\u2019, a project by the Academy of Arts Novi Sad<\/strong>, will be presented. The CGA conference<\/strong> that will gather professionals in the field of computer graphics, as well as the \u2018Matter Through Time. Sand, Wood, Stone, Metal in the Age of Digitization\u2019 exhibition<\/strong> by the students from Austria\u2019s St. Polten, will also be held. The ninth art will also be presented at this year\u2019s opening ceremony within the \u2018A Comic Strip Tour of Belgium\u2019 exhibition<\/strong>. The audience will have a chance to see the \u2018Pustinjsko polarni voz\u2019 (en. Desert-Polar Express) sculpture by Gojko Dutina<\/strong>, along with the \u2018Avenija mimova\u2019 (en. Meme Avenue) project by Aleksa Vujovi\u0107.<\/strong><\/p>

The audience will have an opportunity to enjoy the plays within INFANT, the \u2018Grand Hotel\u2019 play by Madlenianum<\/strong>, the famous Belgrade theatre, as well as the unusual performance \u2018Instable\u2019<\/strong>, performed by the French artist Nicolas Fraiseau.<\/p>
