The Serbian National Theatre will be the meeting place of our renowned actresses Jasna \u0110uri\u010di\u0107, Gordana \u0110ur\u0111evi\u0107 Dimi\u0107 and Nata\u0161a Ninkovi\u0107, who will play the heroines of our past Marija Trandafil, Milica Stojadinovi\u0107 Srpkinja, Milica Tomi\u0107 and Mileva Mari\u0107 Einstein. They will answer questions to journalists Vesna Farka\u0161, Nata\u0161a Raketi\u0107 and Aleksandra Popovi\u0107 from the perspective of the roles they play, within the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kalendar.novisad2022.rs\/en\/events\/journalists-ask-heroines-ars-e-femmina\/\">\u2018Journalists Ask the Heroines\u2019<\/a><\/strong> project.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Theatre in the Service of Equality<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kalendar.novisad2022.rs\/en\/events\/a-lullaby-for-aleksija-rancic-free-voices-katalin-and-aleksija\/\">\u2018A Lullaby for Aleksija Raj\u010di\u0107\u2019<\/a><\/strong>, a play about the inequality of women and the search for freedom on the other side of the law, was performed at the Serbian National Theatre. The play, based on the text by \u0110or\u0111e Kosi\u0107, directed by Jug \u0110or\u0111evi\u0107, reveals patriarchal matrices and the cowardice that hides behind them. The Novi Sad Theatre also joined the Heroines programme arch with the play <a href=\"https:\/\/kalendar.novisad2022.rs\/en\/events\/when-god-kicks-you-in-the-belly-lovas-ildiko\/\"><strong>\u2018When God Kicks You in the Belly\u2019<\/strong><\/a>, written by Lovas Ildik\u00f3, directed by Urb\u00e1n Andr\u00e1s.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/novisad2022.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slobodni-glasovi-Katalin-i-Aleksija-foto-NSEPK-V.-Velickovic-2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-25038\" src=\"https:\/\/novisad2022.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slobodni-glasovi-Katalin-i-Aleksija-foto-NSEPK-V.-Velickovic-2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1000\" height=\"666\" srcset=\"https:\/\/novisad2022.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slobodni-glasovi-Katalin-i-Aleksija-foto-NSEPK-V.-Velickovic-2.jpg 1000w, https:\/\/novisad2022.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slobodni-glasovi-Katalin-i-Aleksija-foto-NSEPK-V.-Velickovic-2-300x200.jpg 300w, https:\/\/novisad2022.rs\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/06\/Slobodni-glasovi-Katalin-i-Aleksija-foto-NSEPK-V.-Velickovic-2-768x511.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14pt;\"><strong>Female Activism through Visual Art<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Around one hundred women from ten partner countries participated in the creation of the concept and materials for the multimedia exhibition on the history of the Women&#8217;s Liberation Movement in Europe (WLM), which will be housed in the Archives of Vojvodina. The exhibition travels to partner cities and presents some of the most important events, women&#8217;s organizations, social milestones, biographies of famous and unknown marginalized women. The event is part of the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kalendar.novisad2022.rs\/en\/events\/european-womens-memory\/\">\u2018Rewomen \u2013 European Women\u2019s Memory\u2019<\/a><\/strong>, which includes a two-day international conference on \u2018Legacy of the Movement for the Liberation of Women\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The exhibition <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/kalendar.novisad2022.rs\/en\/events\/zero-tolerance-for-violence-against-women-the-world-biennial-of-student-posters\/\">\u2018Zero Tolerance towards Violence against Women &#8211; World Biennale of Student Posters\u2019<\/a><\/strong> awaits us at the Svilara Cultural Station and the Republic Square. The exhibition will not leave space for silence and turning our heads away from this important topic.
