From the status of a free royal city, through Serbian Athens, to today\u2019s European Capital of Culture, Novi Sad is one of the few cities in Europe to receive the first film saga about the birth of the city, called \u2018Liberta\u2019<\/strong><\/a>, which will premiere<\/strong> at the Petrovaradin Fortress on 17 July<\/strong>. The new accomplishment, signed by directors Gvozden \u0110uri\u0107<\/strong> and \u017danko Tomi\u0107<\/strong>, will show not only the liberation of Novi Sad and obtaining the status of a free royal city but also the liberation of the whole of Vojvodina as a space where Serbian culture and tradition most intricately intertwine with European values and challenges of that time.<\/p>\n

Admission to the movie screening is free, but due to the limited number of seats, the audience will only be able to attend with free tickets that can be picked up exclusively at the Gigs Tix ticket office in Pariski Magazin<\/em>. Tickets can be picked up with a personal ID, and one person can take a maximum of three tickets. Online booking is not available.<\/strong><\/p>\n
