Tomorrow, on 13 January, the spectacular Do\u010dek, including more than 40 events across the city, is taking place in Novi Sad.<\/strong> The unique celebration of New Year\u2019s Eve, according to the Julian calendar, will be another exciting audio-visual journey for all citizens of Novi Sad and its visitors planning to spend 13 January in Serbian Athens.<\/p>\n

Due to the great interest for the Do\u010dek event taking place on 13 January, most of the concerts have been sold out, but you will still have an opportunity to buy tickets for particular concerts. Tickets are still available for sale at all Gigs Tix box offices<\/a><\/strong> and online<\/a><\/strong> on their website for the following concerts: Konstrakta<\/a><\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0Zemlja Gruva<\/strong> in the Serbian National Theatre, Shortparis<\/a><\/strong> in Fabrika, Haelos<\/a><\/strong> in the Youth Theatre, ABOP<\/a><\/strong> in Radni\u010dki Dom, Ke Ma and Shihan Wang<\/a><\/strong> with the Silk & Wind duo<\/strong> in the Novi Sad Theatre, and Sana Gari\u0107<\/a><\/strong> in the Svilara Cultural Station.<\/p>\n

You will have an opportunity to buy tickets for particular concerts at the very entrance: ABOP<\/a>, Sana Gari\u0107<\/a>, Shortparis<\/a>, Konstrakta<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Zemlja Gruva and Haelos<\/a>. Due to the great interest, we provided a limited number of tickets valid for purchase at the entrance for already sold-out concerts \u2013 Sevdaliza<\/a>, YU Grupa<\/a> and Divanhana<\/a>.<\/strong> Admission to the concerts at all locations and ticket sales will start an hour before the mentioned performances.<\/p>\n

The following concerts broke ticket sales record – the Novi Sad DJ, producer and musical Maverick, Space Motion & Tribe<\/a><\/strong>, in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, with Undercatt<\/strong><\/em>, another great name on the international electronic music scene, one of the greatest jazz pianists Tigrana Hamasyan<\/a><\/strong> in the City Concert Hall, \u0110or\u0111e David and Ivana Peters<\/a><\/strong> in the Barka Cultural Station, African R\u2019n\u2019B princess Nneka<\/a><\/strong> in the Synagogue, a singer whose voice oversteps the genre boundaries and fills large concert halls Tijana Bogi\u0107evi\u0107<\/a><\/strong> in the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad, the music diva from the Netherlands Sevdaliza<\/a><\/strong> in the Serbian National Theatre, one of the most recognised world music violinists in Europe Lajk\u00f3 F\u00e9lix<\/a><\/strong> in the Reformed Christian Church, the best jazz band from Serbia, EYOT<\/a><\/strong>, in the Egys\u00e9g Cultural Station, the world-famous band Divanhana<\/a><\/strong> in the \u2018Laza Kosti\u0107\u2019 Grammar School, the singer of spiritual and ethno music Danica Crnogor\u010devi\u0107<\/a><\/strong> in the Serbian National Theatre and the legendary YU Grupa<\/a><\/strong> in the great hall of the NIS Business Centre. The Do\u010dek programme has been supported by the NIS<\/a><\/strong> Business Centre.<\/p>\n

Within Do\u010dek on 13 January in the Bukovac Cultural Station, the Visoko C Association will be in charge of the children\u2019s programme<\/a><\/strong>, while amazing girls from the tamburitza band La Banda<\/a><\/strong> will also perform there. The Kal<\/a><\/strong> band brings the fusion of sounds to the Rumenka Cultural Station, while the local organisation in the recently opened Kovilj Cultural Station will present a special artistic programme<\/a><\/strong>. Admission to their performances is free.<\/p>\n

Programmes in the iconic Novi Sad caf\u00e9s will also be part of Do\u010dek. Therefore, we can expect the performance by DJ Marko Nasti\u0107<\/a><\/strong>, the Macedonian band Dope Kukjata<\/strong><\/a>, which will be joined on stage by local rappers Kene Beri<\/strong> and Zicer<\/strong>, as well as the Gazorpazorp<\/a><\/strong> band, the \u0160lagvort<\/a> <\/strong>band and many others.<\/p>\n
