Novi Sad, the future European Capital of Culture, presents the online multimedia opera spectacle \u2018Rigoletto\u2019 to audience around the world for the New Year’s Eve on 31 December at 6 p.m. on the visitns.rs<\/a> platform.<\/p>\n\n

Giuseppe Verdi’s opera \u2018Rigoletto\u2019<\/strong> was performed in the open for the first time 170 years after its premiere, right in Novi Sad in front of the monument of culture, the Czech Magazine, during the grand opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture in September this year<\/a>. The opera, directed by Aleksandar Nikoli\u0107<\/strong>, was accompanied by a special video projection on the 50-meter-long fa\u00e7ade. Verdi’s masterpiece was performed under the baton of Luis Gorelik<\/strong> from Argentina, in co-production with the oldest Serbian professional theatre, the Serbian National Theatre.<\/p>\n
