Do you have a marvellous idea that you could implement within a workshop, forum, music performance or other artistic performance? Do you work on an exciting project that you would like to appear within the ‘Eye on the Edge’ festival? Apply here since the application deadline is 10 March.

The slogan of this year’s festival is ‘Different Voices’, which celebrates diversity, gathers groups of different opinion, and different solutions for some of the most important questions we face today, such as climate changes, racism, isolation, mental health and other questions of general importance.

Criteria for the application to the ‘Eye on the Edge’ festival:

  • Does the activity you suggest facilitates the dialogue and/or raises awareness of global problems of modern times?
  • Does the activity you suggest offers some new perspective?
  • Does the activity you suggest offers a platform (place) where the voice of young people can be heard, for different opinion, different voices, and voices of marginalised people?
  • Do you think that the activity you offer is interactive and that the audience will find it attractive? Does it include the audience?
  • What is the connection between your idea and some of the three topics of the ‘Galway 2020 – European Capital of Culture’ project: language, landscape, and migrations?

If your projects answers to at least one of these questions – apply!
