The deadline for applying to public calls, which the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation announced during December 2020, has been extended to 12 February 2021, no later than 4 p.m.
Public calls were announced in order to co-finance projects within individual programme arches (Danube Sea and Fortress of Peace; Migrations and Heroines; Kaleidoscope of Culture and Second Europe; Doček and Future of Europe) and in order to supplement and enrich the official programme in the title year.
Applications for the Public Call for Programme Arches must be submitted in person to the address of the Foundation (Trg Slobode 3) by 4 p.m., or by registered mail by 11:59 p.m. on the same day, also to the same address – ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation, Trg Slobode 3, 21101 Novi Sad, PO Box 153.
The application form (Form 1, Form 2) must also be submitted electronically, by sending an email to konkurs@ns2021.rs, no later than 12 February 2021 by 11:59 p.m.
To remind, the projects applying for the call must be public, cultural and artistic programmes that are in line with the programme concept and ‘4 New Bridges’ artistic vision developed by the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation.
The call is open to: cultural institutions founded by the Republic of Serbia, the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina or local government, i.e. legal entities that provide funds for performing activities and achieving goals from the sources mentioned above, as well as legal entities, associations and other legal entities based in the Republic of Serbia registered for performing activities in the field of culture and artistic creation, other non-governmental organizations in the field of culture, as well as those registered for performing scientific and educational activities. The proposed projects must be implemented in the territory of the City of Novi Sad and ‘Zone 021’ (municipalities of Irig, Beočin and Sremski Karlovci). In exceptional cases, the final programme may be elsewhere. The main programmes and activities within the project must be visible and implemented during 2022.
