On the occasion of the World Elder Abuse Awareness Day (15 June), the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation is launching a podcast that deals with the position of the elderly – the first in the region to deal with the topic of ageism!

The podcast will be a continuation of the story started within the ‘Age Against The Machine’ project, which deals with increasing the awareness, knowledge, interest of European citizens and decision-makers regarding the challenges of aging, as well as the position of the elderly population through artistic theatre expression.

The ‘Age Against The Machine’ project, which was supported by the European Commission within the CERV – Network of Cities programme, brought together international partners Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium (Holstebro, Denmark), Teatr Brama (Goleniów, Poland), University of Évora (Portugal), Red Cross of Serbia, Compagnia Il Melarancio Cooperativa Sociale Ets (Cuneo, Italy) and Troupe Drž Ne Daj (Novi Sad, Serbia).
