The seventh Kaleidoscope of Culture enters its final week, focusing on visual arts with a rich ‘Darkest Wave’ programme. Gastro Delights This Month!

This October, don’t miss the Night Bazaar at Fish Market, held on the first Friday of the month from 6 p.m. This event gathers small producers from Novi Sad and surrounding areas, offering authentic local flavors and creative crafts. Novi Sad residents will also enjoy Fenseraj Ukusa at Detelinara Market, taking place on 12 October from 6 p.m., providing another opportunity for culinary delights and fun. This month also brings the Start Up Novi Sad Night Bazaar, which will be held at Fish Market on 18 October from 6 p.m. Don’t miss these three opportunities to indulge in exquisite treats and buy unique handmade items from local producers.

October in the Spirit of Running!

October in Novi Sad brings challenges for running and nature lovers, with the Novi Sad Marathon taking place on 13 October. The 42.195-kilometre race route runs through the urban parts of Novi Sad and along the Danube, with participants also able to try the half marathon (21 kilometres), as well as shorter races of 10 and 5 kilometres. Registrations are open, and more information can be found on the organizer’s website: www.marathon.org.rs.

For those who prefer mountain trails, Saturday, 19 October is reserved for an event combining sports and recreation in the untouched nature of Fruška Gora. Starting and ending at Popovica, the Fruška Gora Marathon offers three different routes: the Maximum route of 25 kilometres the Hobi route of 10 kilometres, and the Mini route of 4 kilometres, which is ideal for children.
