The Association Cinema City, in cooperation with partner organizations within the Parks4All project, announces an open call for an artist residency dedicated to the use, activation, and re-examination of public green areas and parks. The project is co-financed through the Interreg VI-A IPA Hungary–Serbia program.
What the residency offers

Financial support of 500 EUR for creative process costs

Accommodation and three meals per day from October 15 to 29, 2025
Artistic expressions
The residency sets no technical limitations – the work may be in the field of visual arts, land art, installation, photography, performance, film, bio art, music, gastronomy, contemporary circus, or any other form of expression that can be realized in a park or public space.
Expectations from participants
The work should be thematically relevant, visually striking, and adapted to festival and weather conditions.

Applications must include:

Motivation letter (max. one A4 page, including basic personal data),

Professional portfolio,

Work plan to be realized on-site.
Applications must be sent by October 5, 2025, 23:59:59 to milos.ignjatovic@cinemacity.org or by post to the address: Cinema City Association, Bogoboja Atanackovića 8, Novi Sad, Serbia.
Selection process
A three-member jury will evaluate submissions according to the following criteria:

Portfolio – 40 points,

Work plan – 50 points,

Motivation letter – 10 points.
The results will be announced by October 10, 2025.
Who can apply?
The call is open to professional and semi-professional artists under the age of 36 from Serbia and Hungary. Group applications (up to three members, with an average age under 36) are also possible. The working language of the residency is English.
