Three European Capitals of Culture Will Present Their Programmes Online Today

Three cities in Europe will bear the prestigious European Capital of Culture title in 2022: Esch (Luxembourg), Kaunas (Lithuania), and Novi Sad (Serbia).

Today, the three capitals of culture will have a chance to present themselves to media from all over the world, while the event will be streamed live via the Facebook Page of Kaunas 2022.

Simonas Kairys (Minister of Culture, Lithuania),  Visvaldas Matijošaitis (Mayor of Kaunas), Valerijus Makūnas (Mayor of Kaunas District), Virginija Vitkienė (CEO of Kaunas 2022), Nancy Braun (CEO of Esch 2022), Nemanja Milenković (CEO of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation), Dany Lucas (Head of Events & Locations Supervisor of Esch 2022), and Francoise Poos (Programme Director of Esch 2022) will present themselves at the international press conference.

The first part of the conference will feature the presentation of the Kaunas 2022 programme, while afterwards, Esch and Novi Sad will present their programme concept, having in mind that both cities will present their programme book in the following month.
