Eight Days Left to Apply for the Japanese Research Trip

You have eight days left to apply to the Public call for financial support for local artists and cultural workers for the implementation of a study or research trip to Japan, which was launched by the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation in cooperation with the EU – Japan Fest from Tokyo. Deadline for submitting application forms is 30 April.

The aim of the call is to encourage internationalisation of Novi Sad cultural scene and to connect local cultural workers and artists with partners from Japan.

The research trip to Japan brings development of cooperation projects that will be implemented in 2022 within the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project. Therefore, project proposals should be in accordance with programme arches and topic of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project, while applicants can find all the details regarding the call on the following link.

Applications with accompanying documentation are submitted via the following e-mail address: international@ns2021.rs.

The call will be implemented in two phases that comprise preselection and selection. Preselection is made by the selection jury formed by the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation, while selection will be made by the EU – Japan Fest organisation.

The call is continuously open, without any set deadlines. The selection of candidates will be made periodically, and results will be sent directly to candidates. Deadline for submitting application forms in 2021: 30 April, 30 June, and 31 August.
