Novi Sad will proudly bear the prestigious European Capital of Culture title in 2022, presenting to its citizens a year-long cultural programme divided in the total of eight programme arches under the slogan ‘For New Bridges.’

If you love cultural events, if you want to gain new experiences and knowledge, if you are ready for new challenges, adventures and creative work and you want to make society better through joint work, therefore contributing to the cultural life of the city, become part of the volunteering team of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project, which was officially proclaimed project of national importance.

During the last couple of years, within the project of capital of culture, our city got eight cultural stations, the first City Concert Hall, the Music School got its own building after 100 years, while the Ballet School got its building as well after 70 years. The upcoming fourth Kaleidoscope of Culture is scheduled for September, and then in 2022 – the title itself. In 2022, Novi Sad will be the European centre of culture!

• This call encompasses:
• Support in organising various programmes and activities during the implementation of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project (concerts, exhibitions, cultural events, conferences, the Kaleidoscope of Culture, Doček, surveys, activities in cultural stations, etc.).

In addition to that, volunteers will have an opportunity to participate in the promotion of the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ project through texts, photographs, videos, work in the Press Centre and with the communication team of the project. If you are interested in a career in some of these areas, join the team and gain the priceless experience.

By becoming a volunteer in the European Capital of Culture, you make new friendships, develop your foreign language skills, travel, have an opportunity to learn and apply some of the gained knowledge and skills, enrich your personality and share positive energy around yourself.
