The meeting place of writers and readers will be the Novi Sad Fair again this year, at the Book Fair, which will be held from 18 to 25 March. Take advantage of the great opportunity to get new titles at publisher promotional prices and complete your home library.

Bazaar – An Opportunity for a Good Shopping

The famous Fish Market in the centre of Novi Sad turns into a Night Bazaar, and this time it will be held on 1 and 15 March. In addition to homemade food, deli products, wine, beer and other local products of entrepreneurs from Novi Sad and its surroundings, we will have the opportunity to buy unique handicrafts. In addition to the bazaar, the BIG Sweet Market awaits us on 2 and 3 March, in the shopping centre of the same name, and on 9 March, do not miss Fenseraj Ukusa at Detelinara market. A day later, on 10 March, the Sunday Market will be held in Fabrika in the District.

Novi Sad for the Youngest

A fun Saturday morning in Novi Sad starts at the Bulevar Books bookstore, where the youngest audience can enjoy the Readings (Čitanjac), which starts at 11 a.m. every Saturday, while at the same time creative workshops on Saturdays are held in the Gallery of Matica Srpska. These educational workshops are intended for children aged 5-10 years, and participation is RSD 200, while you can find information about the programme of each workshop and a link to register  HERE. Ready for marathon?

If you love running and are no stranger to breaking your own limits, you will be pleased to hear that the traditional Novi Sad Half Marathon will be held on 24 March, starting at 10 a.m. The start and finish are at the Liberty Square, so we invite you to try the 10 km event. However, if that might be too much for you, you can apply for a 5 km run or Nordic walking. There is also a programme for children. Let’s run!

Easter Promenade

Let us wake up nature and celebrate the most joyous Christian holiday with the Easter Promenade on the plateau in front of the SC Promenada, which will last from 28 to 6 April. Flower installations and colourful eggs, interesting cultural and musical programme await us, while the youngest visitors will be able to enjoy creative workshops. In authentic wooden houses, which exude the spirit of tradition, handicrafts and souvenirs will be sold.

In order to nurturet forgotten customs related to the Holy Week  in the multicultural city, the Museum of Vojvodina organizes a traditional masquerade, therefore we invite the little ones to disguise themselves as the funniest characters and parade together through the city centre. This year, the parade will gather in the Unification Park (between 35 and 37 Dunavska Street) on 15 March at 11:30 a.m. The walk will continue through the central streets of Novi Sad – Dunavska and Zmaj Jovina streets, to the Liberty Square and back to the gazebo in the Danube Park, where the entertainment programme and the announcement of the most successful masks will continue.
