“Mileva: Decoding” brings panel dedicated to women in media art

The multimedia event “Mileva: Decoding”, organized by Novi Sad to mark the 150th anniversary of Mileva Marić’s birth, offers a rich and diverse program dedicated to her life, work, and the contemporary interpretation of her legacy. In Čeličana, one of the largest and most impressive restored industrial heritage spaces in the District, the audience will encounter exhibitions, performances, and expert-artistic debates, jointly realized by more than one hundred participants from eight countries.

Panel “Women in Media Arts” — December 21 at 5 PM

The first panel will feature distinguished experts from the international creative scene:

  • Joana Miranda, Coordinator of the UNESCO Creative City of Media Arts Braga,
  • Veronika Christina Liebl, Executive Director of the renowned Ars Electronica festival,
  • Andrea Stojanovič, media artist.
  • Elica Stoilova, director and co-founder of the platform Umni for AI chatbot solutions.

The discussion will be moderated by PhD Monika Bilbija, visual artist, stage designer and architect.

Entry is free with mandatory registration.

The event is supported through the UNESCO Participation Programme and Emergency Assistance as a contribution to developing sustainable gender equality strategies in the creative industries, with the participation of Creative Europe Desk Serbia, the project Support for Participation in EU Programmes, and the European House Novi Sad.
