Considering the very demanding production of over one hundred events that will be held during the opening of the Kaleidoscope of Culture, from 1 to 4 September, in the District, and due to unfavourable weather conditions, two concerts have been postponed and will take place during the weekend, on the third and fourth day of the opening, while several of the tonight’s performances will be held at slightly changed times. All remaining programmes, music, theatre, film, and conference, as well as over 20 exhibitions and installations, will be held as planned, and the District will be turned into a true kaleidoscope of art.
Instead of opening, Boris Kovač will close the four-day introduction to the Kaleidoscope of Culture. His long-awaited performance in the open will be held on Music Stage 1, on 4 September at 10 p.m. You can expect a performance by the famous LP Duo, beforehand on the same stage, at 7 p.m.
The concert of the Belgrade band VROOOM was moved to 2 September at 11.30 p.m. on Music Stage 2, while the hourly schedule for the performances of the remaining four bands was moved to one hour earlier.
DJ Filip Grujić will perform on Music Stage 2 tonight, as planned, from 7 p.m., while the concert of the Vladimir Samardžić Trio +1 will start half an hour earlier, at 8.30 p.m.
We advise you to bring umbrellas and fully enjoy the great programmes of international, European, and local artists, which will not be affected by the weather. In case of new changes, all information will be available on the Kaleidoscope of Culture website, as well as on social media. Also, we remind you that traffic will be closed until 6 September on the part of Despota Stefana Boulevard, between the Liberty Bridge and the District, as well as on the street between the Živojin Ćulum student dormitory and the District. The parking ban will be valid in the District zone – around the basketball court.
