02/02/2026

The platform dedicated to digital art and technology, KIKK, in collaboration with partners from Namur (Belgium), has announced two open calls for artistic residencies in the fields of art, science, and technology for 2026. The calls are intended for artists working at the intersection of digital art, science, and technology, with a focus on new media practices.

The first residency (KIKK x CCN), taking place from 27 April to 22 May, is dedicated to interdisciplinary research in the fields of art, science, technology, and society. The application deadline is 15 February 2026. More information is available here.

The second residency, running from 27 May to 24 June, invites artists to explore astronomy and the cosmos through contemporary artistic and technological approaches. The application deadline is 1 March. All details can be found here.

For each residency, one international artist and one artist from Wallonia will be selected. Projects in the fields of music, theatre, and dance will not be considered, as the calls are focused on new media and digital art practices.
