A three-day training entitled the ‘Possibilities for Financing Through EU Funds’ training, dedicated to the representatives of non-governmental organisations in the field of culture, freelance artists, and cultural workers, was held in the Egység Cultural Station, from 2 until 4 June.
Fifteen participants attended the trainings organised by the ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation and ‘European Affairs’ Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, and afterwards they received certificates.
The main goal of the training is to train participants to independently formulate project proposals and to strategically position them in framework of defined priorities and measures, as well as financial limits. During the training, participants will develop skills and stances that are needed for taking active roles in development and implementation of projects at local and regional levels.
The training presents the continuation of cooperation of the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation with the non-institutional cultural and artistic scene on the territory of Novi Sad on developmental processes, this time through presentation of possibilities for financing through EU funds, as well as the procedure for application and writing of projects.
Another series of trainings ‘Possibilities for Financing Through EU Funds’ are planned for autumn this year.
