The ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation and European Youth Capital Novi Sad – OPENS 2019 organise a memorable concerts for citizens of Novi Sad. On Saturday, at 8 p.m., World Youth Choir, comprising 58 young singers from 33 countries let by conductors from Kenya and Hungary, will perform in Novi Sad Synagogue. Admission is free for all visitors.

The audience in Novi Sad will have a chance to enjoy in an extraordinary performance of spiritual and secular compositions of East Europe and Africa, from Romanticism till today. What is especially interesting is the performance of compositions from this region in new arrangements. The World Youth Choir prepared works of famous national composers for each of the countries they perform on this tour.

Apart from a unique delivery, the World Youth Choir sends a strong message that young people respect the ideas of unity, difference between nations, religions and culture.

In addition to Serbia, the choir will perform in Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Slovenia.

The concert in Novi Sad will take place in Synagogue on 15 June (Saturday) at 8 p.m.
