The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation invites young people to apply for the voluntary programme during the International Theatre Festival in the Romanian city of Sibiu in early June.
The opportunity for voluntary work at this International Theatre Festival is a unique chance for young people to gain experience, contacts and references. The ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation, in cooperation with the Sibiu International Theatre Festival, invites all who are interested to apply to the voluntary programme, which has been organised by this festival since 2007, when this city was a European Capital of Culture.
The 25th edition of the Sibiu International Theatre Festival is dedicated to the topic of PASSION, and is being held from 8 to 17 June 2018. The festival has an extensive experience in working with volunteers, and we should mention that there were 524 of them last year, 32 of which were international volunteers. You can find the motivation for applying in a chance to see how one of the most exciting theatre festivals in the world functions from the inside; to be part of young and dynamic organisation team; to be active in international environment; to do tasks in which you are skilled and get all the benefits of voluntary work: international training, certificate, t-shirt :)… The names of international volunteers will be published in the official programme booklet of the festival. The costs of transport and accommodation are covered.
Who can apply? Volunteers can be all who are 18 or older, and who are free between 31 May and 20 June 2018 to be in Sibiu. It is necessary to speak English, since you will be in international environment. Experience in voluntary work in stage art is necessary.
What is necessary for the application? If you are interested, send a short letter of intent in ENGLISH, your CV and one portrait photo to the following e-mail: milica.vukadinovic@ns2021.rs no later than Friday, 9 February 2018.
The best candidates will be invited to a skype call with the organisers of the festival in late February.
