Ivana Čavić, a young visual artist from Novi Sad, has been selected within the Plants AiR residential programme, implemented by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation in cooperation with KAIR residential programme, to realise her artistic residence this spring in Košice, Slovakia.

This residential programme will last approximately two months from 1 May to 30 June 2018. During this time, the artist will have a chance to participate in creating in situ work with local artists.

Ivana Čavić graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad and is a very active visual artist that has had two solo exhibitions in Novi Sad. She also participated in numerous group exhibitions, as well as in projects of international exchange in Serbia and abroad.

Ivana Čavić is one of three candidates that the selection jury of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation recommended for residential programme to partners from KAIR organisation, while the final decision on selection of the resident was made by the team from Košice that will host and lead our artist through this residential programme.
