‘Neutralno’ International Conference in Novi Sad in May
27/04/2018

This May, Novi Sad will host ‘Neutralno’ international event – conference that is envisaged as a space for dialogue about new cultural spaces. The idea is that all interested stakeholders in culture and creative industries from the region come to Novi Sad on 9 and 10 May and present different practices in Europe and the region on sustainability of cultural spaces.

Key issues that ‘Neutralno’ addresses:

How cultural spaces managed to adjust their social and educational roles to the requirement for economic self-sustainability?

Whether and in what way they managed to keep their independent role with regard to the official cultural policy and ideology, thus becoming/remaining the key element in development of community and society?

The conference will feature managers from some of the most successful cultural spaces from Germany, Austria, France, Sweden, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Serbia.

The participants will have a chance to see different approaches and models in management and sustainability of cultural spaces at 4 panels and 2 workshops.

Participation at the conference is free of charge. The application is mandatory.
