Lab for European Project Making – Rijeka

After Timișoara and Novi Sad, the third educational cycle of the ‘Lab for European Project Making’ programme will be held from 30 June until 8 July in Rijeka.

Through this project, the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation trains eight managers from Novi Sad, willing to approach cultural management in new and different ways, to deal with modern challenges and trends.

The topic of the third meeting within the ‘Lab for European Project Making’ educational programme are programmes and cultural policies with special emphasis on the programme development, European dimension and establishing the cooperation, budgeting and fundraising.

Mentors and lecturers in Rijeka will be Julia Pagel, Secretary General of NEMO – Network of European Museum Organisations (Germany), Adam Jeanes, Project Manager and Director of the Music/Arts Council England (England), Milena Dragičević Šešić, Head of the Office for Interculturalism, Management of Arts and Mediation of UNESCO and lecturer in the field of cultural politics, management and culture and cultural and media studies at several universities across Europe (Serbia). Guest lecturers are Alma R. Selimović and Mojca Jug from the Bunker Institute (Slovenia), Antonia Silvaggi from the MeltingPro (Italy).

The first cycle of the ‘Lab for European Project Making’ programme was held in Timișoara in December 2017, where the main topic was the audience development, while the second cycle, dedicated to the topic of production was held in Novi Sad in April this year.
