27/07/2018

Sanja Kojić Mladenov, senior curator-art historian of the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina, will visit the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rijeka within the ‘Out of the Comfort Zone’ co-finance of mobility of cultural managers and workers in culture and art for 2018, organised by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation.

From 26 July until 3 August, Sanja will work on curator‘s selection of artists and spaces for implementation of ‘My Art is My Life’ international exhibition planned for November. She will contribute to development of international visibility of cultural and artistic potential of Novi Sad through new networking by encouraging participation of artists from Novi Sad and Serbia.

Cultural exchange is dedicated to exchange of experience, professional training, creating new skills through direct contact with colleagues, familiarising with ways of organisation, programme structure, artistic funds of the Museum, connecting with local artistic scene, and with the aim of improving cooperation between the Museum of Contemporary Art and the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art within the ‘Risk Change’ project, as well as creating new partners, joint projects, connecting artists and cultural institutions from Rijeka and Novi Sad.

Aims of the ‘Out of the Comfort Zone’ project are mobility improvement, promotion of international cultural cooperation and raising institutional and administrative capacities in cultural institutions on the territory of Novi Sad and municipalities of Sremski Karlovci, Beočin and Irig.

This is the first call that encourages mobility of cultural workers organised in Novi Sad and it is the part of a wider strategy on internationalisation of the cultural scene implemented by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation.
