30/07/2018

The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation has supported joint action of all citizens of Europe who care about preservation and protection of cultural heritage and calls our fellow citizens to join and sign the Berlin Call to Action!

Mr Nemanja Milenković, CEO of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation, signed and supported the Berlin Call to Action in addition to signatories from 48 countries and presidents from three organisations that organised the European Cultural Heritage Summit, Plácido Domingo, President of Europa Nostra organisation, Dr Martina Münch and Prof Dr Hermann Parzinger, President of the Prussian Cultural Heritage Foundation (SPK).

Cultural heritage for the future of Europe is in the focus of the Berlin Call to Action, initiative created within the first European Cultural Heritage Summit held in Berlin from 18 until 24 June 2018, attended by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation, the only representative of the city-capitals of culture.

The Berlin Call to Action is the call for improvement of European cultural heritage, which finds the inspiration and legitimacy in expertise, enthusiasm and engagement of all people who care about cultural heritage (tangible, intangible and digital) and who, as professionals and volunteers, dedicated their expertise, time and energy to pass this heritage to future generations.
