Future of Europe: Young Accordion Virtuosi

The youngest accordion players will perform the pieces of young Serbian composers within the ‘New Serbian Music for the Accordion – Fairy Tales for Children’ concert that will be held in the Egység Cultural Station on 25 May with a symbolic start at 20:21h. The entrance is free.

The concert is part of the 4th International Festival of Accordion and Chamber Music Euphonia, which promotes education, culture and art through cooperation with young artists, composers and musician. Since the ‘Future of Europe’ programme platform has a similar task, the ‘New Serbian Music for the Accordion – Fairy Tales for Children’ concert became part of the platform and thus creates opportunities for children and young people to create a new cultural image of the city.

The citizens of Novi Sad and guests of the city will have the opportunity to listen to pieces of art of young local composers for a solo accordion, intended primarily for the youngest virtuosi. Branko Džinović will perform works by Marko Dulić, Stanislava Gajić and Maja Bosnić at the concert.

The same evening, a collection of the mentioned works of the same title will be premiered.

The ‘Future of Europe’ platform will include educative and circus workshops, exhibitions, festivals, concerts, theatre plays and many other activities. The focus is on children and young fellow citizens, who will have the opportunity to find cultural content according to their interests, but also to engage in creating new, different cultural contents, to learn about European values ​​and to show how they can contribute to cultural image of the city. 
More than 40 local and foreign organisations and cultural institutions are involved in the ‘Future of Europe’ platform. Programmes will last until 7 June, and detailed information can be found here.
