Second Europe, the programme arch that presents different, minority, hidden and also brave and challenging cultural scene of Novi Sad, puts the female creativity related to new technologies in the focus.
The exhibition, implemented by the K.A.T (Culture. Activism. Theory) multimedia platform, deals with the position of new and old media art from a female perspective. The title itself implies the analogue nature of the exhibition because the artists do not exhibit their works, but replicas of works in the analogue forms – facade flags. In addition to flags, there are texts that deal with personal, technical, technological, socio-cultural experiences that the participants went through when creating their works. In this way, the exhibition highlights the problems that arise when producing a media piece of work and locates focal points for discussion and struggle to improve the status of all those engaged in this type of production through a critical prism.
The exhibition concept was designed by Isidora Todorić, curator, and works of thirteen extraordinary artists will be presented: Violeta Vojvodić Balaž, Darija Medić, Andrea Palašti, Ana Nedeljković, Monika Sigeti, Nataša Teofilović, Zorica Čolić, Katarina Petrović, Bojana Knežević, Isidora Pejović, Radmila Trebovac, Ana Stefanović and Vesna Manojlović.
The exhibition is accompanied by workshops at: 7 p.m., 8 p.m. And 9:30 p.m. in the S Gallery:

The exhibition will be open in the Museum of Contemporary Art of Vojvodina until 13 December.
The K.A.T. Multimedia platform is part of the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ project.
