In the year when it won two European titles – European Capital of Culture 2021 and European Youth Capital 2019 – Novi Sad gets the project „2 New!“
A sort of nonmaterial cultural heritage of Novi Sad is to celebrate two New Years and two Christmases in the period from December 25th to January 13th (according to the Gregorian and Julian calendar). „Novi Sad 2021“ team prepares for the first time festival concept of celebration of the „craziest night.“ At 4 locations in 4 days, for two New Years, more than 100 artists, of whom 60 Symphony Orchestra musicians, will perform more than 40 hours of program and present the most varied musical offer so far. Jazz, pop and rock bands, DJs, orchestras that will perform the most famous works of film and classical music will perform at the festival. In this way, we give our fellow citizens and guests of the city diversity of freedom of choice, and promote tolerance, peace and love as the true ideals of the City.
