Trainings in basics of accessibility for employees in cultural institutions, organisations and decision-makers in the City of Novi Sad, will be organised from 25 until 28 November, from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. in the Svilara Cultural Station.
The idea of the training is to improve knowledge in the field of accessibility and exchange of experience of good practices and challenges that institutions and organisations face in improving access to cultural institutions for all potential beneficiaries.

The following topics will be discussed at the training:
– Introduction, basic accessibility principles and legislative framework
– Urban and architectural accessibility, space orientation, accessible driveways and paths, emergency exit, accessible toilet, accessible theatre, furniture
– Space information and communications, visual accessibility, signs and labels, accessible text and illustrations, accessible publications, audio-visual and interactive content, accessible website
– Main problems in institutions and examples of good and bad practice
Trainings in accessibility are implemented within the ‘Superpowered’ programme, which is part of the ‘Second Europe’ programme arch.
Trainings are implemented by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ with the support of the Accessibility Team of the City of Novi Sad.
