The ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation is hosting a meeting of ECoC cities from the region, on the 11, 12 and 13 of July. The first day will be dedicated for potential ECoCs to present themselves to designated ECoC cities and to have talks with them in order to gain knowledge and experience as well as practical advice for preparing a successful bid and later to implement a successful ECoC project.
This call is part of the ‘New Potential’ project which aims to encourage knowledge transfer and exchanges and to offer help to European Capital of Culture candidate cities to better prepare themselves for the application process and enable better impacts of the title.
The call is open for all interested cities in the region of South-Eastern Europe who plan to apply for the ECoC title in 2024, to come to Novi Sad and to present themselves to their colleagues. Novi Sad 2021 will cover the accommodation and meal costs for a maximum of 2 persons from each interested city for July 11.
A letter of interest to participate in the meeting should be sent to international@ns2021.rs, no later than 10th of June, 2018.
