Within the ‘S.P.A.C.E. – Street Participation for Active Citizenship in Europe’ project, the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation opens the debate and invites citizen to involve and say what they would change in Europe.

Debate will be held in the Liberty Square on Friday, 19 April, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. The Foundation implements this project in partnership with the City Administration for Culture.

The question that will be raised to citizens is: What Would You Change in Europe?
Main objectives of the S.P.A.C.E. project are creating a space for expressing opinions, launching a debate on the future of Europe, raising the capacities of local authorities and civil society organisations, and creating the ability to hear the voice of citizens at the European level.

Furthermore, the project implies the implementation of a specific methodology of citizens’ participation in expressing opinions on important social issues in the European context, and brings the debate on the streets in order to facilitate the process of involving citizens in making democratic decisions.

The implementation of the project began in April 2018, and the first local activity on the topic: How  Important Is Europe for You has been held so far. 
The project is implemented in 10 countries: Italy, Estonia, Romania, Austria, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Greece, Slovenia, Croatia, France and Serbia.
