Five-day Forum (China-CEEC Arts Cooperation Forum) for cooperation in the field of art between China and countries of Central and East Europe will be held in China’s town of Chengdu, in the Province of Sichuan from 11 until 16 June.
The topic of this year’s Forum will be contemporary art: current state, challenges and solutions.
The second edition of the Forum gathered around 300 artists, diplomats and representatives of the artistic institutions from China, Czech Republic, Croatia, Estonia, Hungary, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Latvia, Lithuania, Macedonia, Montenegro, Poland, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Albania while the representative of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation was Dušan Kaličanin, Programme Director of the Foundation.
Within the Forum, two fairs were organised with the aim of networking artists, starting potential cooperation and promoting the programme.
The Forum is held every second year. The first one was held in Beijing in 2016.
