The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation in cooperation with ‘Kaunas 2022’, Lithuanian European Capital of Culture, will support young artists or cultural workers, who pass the selection of the host organisation, in going to the international youth summer camp.
МThe international youth summer camp, organised by the ‘Kaunas 2022 – European Capital of Culture’, is co-creative platform for young people held between 7 and 15 July 2018, when Lithuania commemorates 100 years of independence. Accommodation costs and food are covered by the organiser, while travel costs for 4 artists in the amount of 250 EUR are covered by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation.
The organisers invite young people to mark 100 first times: to host ‘100 Kaunasians’ – Lithuanians and citizens of other nationalities – willing to create 100 first impressions in a creative and strong way for Kaunas. Seeking young enthusiasts who are willing to connect with new ideas and cooperate with each other in achieving common goals: raising energy, enthusiasm, desire to discover, respect towards others, mutual understanding and creativity.
There 100 chances to feel free, apply new ideas, make a step forward, face some of your fears, face critique, challenges and questions asked by others. You have been offered a unique opportunity to discover many different first moments and feel happy in the camp while exchanging good energy! The goal of the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation, among other things, is to create opportunities and encourage mobility and exchange of artists and other stakeholders in cultural and creative industries.
All potential candidates can apply by 2 April, at the site of the organiser.
The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation asks all potential candidates to submit their applications to info@ns2021.rs (marked ‘Application for the Kaunas 2022 camp’) in order to inform us timely on the results.
