Japanese-Serbian Film Festival in the Svilara Cultural Station This Weekend
04/11/2020

Care – a feeling that is currently taking over us, a thought that has become part of our everyday lives and that now, as such, under these specific circumstances, represents the main topic of the seventh Japanese-Serbian Film Festival, which is going to take place in the Svilara Cultural Station from Friday to Sunday (6 – 8 November).

Under the influence of global crisis, the Japanese-Serbian Film Festival team has formed a programme based on four pillars, with clearly defined goals. This year’s topic of ‘C.A.R.E.’, i.e. care, is divided in the following manner: C – Cinema; A – Awareness; R – Resilience; E – Educate.

Within three days of the festival, 19 short films (Japanese and Serbian) and four long feature Japanese films will be shown. You can reserve your seat for the film screenings via e-mail address: svilara@ns2021.rs. until Friday, 6 November, at 12 p.m. (noon). Everyone interested has to specify their name, surname, contact information and the film they’d like to see.

You can see the detailed repertoire of this year’s JSFF on the Cultural Stations’ official website.

Japanese-Serbian Film Festival is implemented in cooperation with the ‘CultCrave’ Association for development of art and culture and ‘Novi Sad – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation.
