Professional trainings entitled ‘Possibilities for financing through the EU funds’ intended for non-institutional organisations in the filed of culture, independent artists and cultural workers, organised by the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation and ‘European Affairs’ Fund of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina are finished for this year.
The trainings have been attended by 200 participants, representatives of the art scene and creative industries during the three years of their implementation. So far, three million euros from EU funds have been allocated for projects of organisations from Novi Sad, which are being implemented on the initiative and in cooperation with the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation.
The main goal of the training is to train participants to independently formulate project proposals and to strategically position them in framework of defined priorities and measures, as well as financial limits. During the training, participants will develop skills and stances that are needed for taking active roles in development and implementation of projects at local and regional levels.
The training presents the continuation of cooperation of the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation with independent and non-institutional artistic scene of Novi Sad on developmental processes, this time through presentation of possibilities for financing through the EU funds, as well as the procedure for application and writing of projects.
