The implementation of 13 projects selected within the call for improvement of small public surfaces ‘New Places – Microgranting’ is in progress, and four voluntary programmes have been implemented so far, i.e. gatherings with local community and presentation of new places in their neighbourhoods.

During the last two weeks, projects were implemented in Bulevar Oslobođenja, in Petrovaradin, Adice and Novo Naselje, which included different types of urban street furniture, horticulture management (greening) and space management.

‘I think that the call brings innovations and truly embellishes different parts of our cities. Organisations that implement their ideas in situ, and negotiate with local community what our neighbours and citizens would like to have in their neighbourhood and how to improve it’, said Jovana Jarić, from the Centre for Multidisciplinary Research that implemented its idea in Novo Naselje, Partizanskih baza Street.

Two voluntary programmes are scheduled for tomorrow, 30 June.
