The EXIT Foundation, OPENS2019 and ECoC2021 invite all civil society organizations from Novi Sad, Serbia and the region to present themselves during the EXIT Festival 2016 at the Petrovaradin Fortress, at the State of Exit Zone.
Same as every year, a part of the attention that festival attracts we direct to those who are trying to make the world a better place for all of us. What makes the world go round besides music and love is activism. Therefore, we call on all civil society organizations which want to be the driving force together with EXIT during the four days of festival, to apply for participation in the Magic State of Exit Zone.
Idea of Magic State of Exit Zone is that every organization in this project offers its magical personality (it may be from the past, from mythology, from literature and fiction, from movies, series and games, even fictional) which best reflects their work, activism and what they stand for and promote. The task for selected organizations will be to prepare the material for their promotion and costume of their magical character who will promote it all.
This year, Novi Sad has achieved historic success by entering the finals of the European Youth Capital 2019 and the European Capital of Culture 2021. On this occasion, this year’s State of EXIT Zone will be in the sign of Novi Sad, the capital of youth and culture.

In the selection of the organizations we will take into account the following criteria:
– The quality of the program and the its adjustment to the State of Exit Zone;
– Current activities of the organization in the field which will address the program;
– Linkage of programs / activities with themes OPENS2019 and ECoC2021.
The proposed program / activity, in addition to the basic information of the organization, should include a detailed description of activities, the necessary technical conditions, two representatives of the organization as well as their names.
The elected organizations will be provided with basic conditions to work, as well as the necessary accreditation by the organizer.
