The Call for submission of applications for the European Capital of Culture 2021 has been published

Today, 23 December 2014, Directorate-General for Education and Culture of the European Commission published the call for submission of applications for the project European Capital of Culture 2021, in the category of candidate countries and potential candidates. The goal of this calls is to choose a capital of culture for the above mentioned year in this area, which basically means that the procedure for the candidacy of Novi Sad has officially started. From this moment, there is 10-month period for finalisation of promotional, programme and strategic activities and submission of the bid book of our city. The Organisation Board for the European Capital of Culture, expert team and all engaged associates on the project once again invite all cultural institutions, individuals, non-governmental sector and citizens to join the process of the candidacy, propose their projects, participate in manifestations organised by the Board and help the candidacy of Novi Sad in way they can.
