The Mlin Cultural Station will become the meeting place for the youngest fans of opera, since the ’Snow White’ opera for children, by the ’Visoko C’ association of artists, will be performed in Mlin on Sunday, 18 September at 10 a.m.

Snow White, symbol of beauty and kindness, was portrayed in 30 minutes of wonderful music composed by Petar Kočić. This is one of the first operas done for children.

Scenes of this famous story, Snow White being left in the woods, stumbling upon the dwarfs’ house and being saved by the prince at last, all lead to the happy ending. This was all vividly and playfully presented in the opera.

The opera contains broad phrases, singing melodic line and it irresistibly reminds one of Puccini or Verdi’s operas.

Artists from the association ‘Visoko C’ performed ‘Snow White’ in Novi Sad for the first time in 2016, and now, after four years, the children will have a chance to see the premiere of the new Snow White – the one with different stage decoration, costumes and protagonists.
