The importance of Novi Sad candidacy for ECOC 2021 is seen through the support given in the past few weeks. After support given by Serbian Prime Minister Mr. Aleksandar Vučić, Serbian Ministry of Culture and Information supported the candidacy as well. A growing number of media in Serbia and the region follows the nomination.

The best example of this is the report of the Conference regarding the City Cultural Strategy, held at City Hall in Novi Sad on February 25th, which was published by „Štajerske novice“.
