Anamarija Ranković, Director at Institute for Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina, is the first cultural worker attending trainings within the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation project for mobility of artists and cultural workers implemented in cooperation with Wro Art Center and Culture Zone Wrocław.
Anamarija will have a chance to see practices of this organisation, methods they use while managing cultural projects and the way they create original artistic programme, during two-week stay in Wrocław.
Anamarija Ranković is from Novi Sad. She studied media engineering and management at the University in Novi Sad. From 2018 she is the Director at Institute for Culture of Ruthenians in Vojvodina.
She acquired previous experience as a journalist and moderator within the Radio of Novi Sad, programme in the Ruthenian language, focusing on the topic of how European integration influences Ruthenian minority. She is the vice-president of the National Council of the Ruthenian National Minority in Serbia from 2011, and a member of the Steering Committee of the ‘Ruske Slovo’ Newspaper Publishing Institution from 2017. She is also a member of the Steering Committee of the Journalist Association of Ruthenians from 2016.
