The ‘Peter and the Wolf’ educational concerts by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev in the performance of the Novi Sad Duo Quintet and Narrator Uroš Mladenović, which are being implemented within the ‘Musical Bon Ton’ project of the Serbian National Theatre, will be held in the ‘Ars Andrea’ Center (Dunavska Street 28) on Tuesday, 30 April 30 at 5 p.m. and in the City Library (Dunavska Street 1) the same day at 6 p.m. The ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation supported this project within the ‘Audience in Focus’ public call.

The main context of the ‘Musical Bon Ton’ project is getting to know the younger population with classical music and performing it in different, unusual concert areas. The idea of creating more accessible music programmes for children aged 3 to 15 aims to interest, educate and make as many visits to similar cultural contents in the city as possible. At the same time, these projects aimed at audience development, are also aimed at encouraging the institutions of culture, through different and more innovative cultural contents, to open their doors for new audience, which has not had the opportunity to get acquainted with the programmes implemented under their auspices yet.

The ‘Peter and the Wolf’ short educational concerts by Russian composer Sergei Prokofiev are performed by a small chamber orchestra especially created for this project, as well as a narrator who speaks in Serbian and Hungarian.
