The Panel comprising representatives of Novi Sad 2021 and Plzeň 2015 projects has made a decision to send Dragan Vojvodić, artist from Novi Sad to the residence in Plzeň.

Dragan Vojvodić will spend six weeks in Plzeň, European Capital of Culture in 2015. His work will focused on making a light/interactive installation in public space, with a possibility for the installation to be shown at the BLIK BLIK light festival in March 2018.

The programme of the residence will be realised from 23 October until 4 December 2017. The artist will live and work in the DEPO2015 creative zone, which is one of the legacies of the Plzeň 2015 project.

Dragan Vojvodić is a multimedia artist who graduated from the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad in 1995. In his creative work he uses different approaches – performance, installation, in situ, video, sculpture, paining. He represented Serbia on exhibitions in France, Iceland, Austria, Germany, Japan, Hungary, Croatia, and Bosnia and Herzegovina. He participate at international festivals in Croatia, Hungary, and Italy. His works are part of the collections of art museums in Serbia, Finland, Iceland, and Portugal. He lives and works in Novi Sad.
