Two online lectures were held for participants, with the aim to provide education for hospitality workers and a training for offering high-quality service, within the European School of Hospitality ‘Bar of Cultures NS2021’.

Participants had a chance to find out more about Novi Sad, as well as important information for the presentation of tourism, thanks to the lectures given by extraordinary professionals who work in this field – Tihana Putin, representative of the Tourist Organisation of Novi Sad, and Saša Pavlović from the Tour Guides Association.

Hospitality workers took a course in guidelines on excellent service by Dejan Živkoski from SERSA – Serbian Sommelier Association, as well as a course by Ranko Spasojević from BarmeNS Association.

The European School of Hospitality project ‘Bar of Cultures NS2021’ is implemented by the BarmeNS Association in cooperation with the ‘Novi Sad 2021 – European Capital of Culture’ Foundation. The aim of the project is education and introduction of significant tourist places in the city to hospitality workers, thus offering guidelines for extraordinary communication and service, having in mind that there is a space for improvement of service in Novi Sad hospitality.

The project is envisaged to guide participants through the most important aspects of the tourist offer of the city, with lectures on the topic of service and communication with tourists, as well as through the practical part, which presents the most important tourist and hospitality places and the importance of local producers.
