The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation within the ‘Out of the Comfort Zone’ project, supported 13 managers working in public cultural institutions and organisations by providing funds for projects of professional trainings abroad.

The independent jury made this decision by selecting candidates who applied for the call that ended on 1 June 2018. 

The total amount of allocated funds is more than 1.200.000 RSD net.

The aims of the ‘Out of the Comfort Zone’ project are improving mobility, improving international cultural cooperation and building institutional and administrative capacities in cultural institutions on the territory of the city of Novi Sad and municipalities of Sremski Karlovci, Beočin and Irig.

The project is implemented in cooperation with five cities from five European countries (Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Croatia and Austria). 15 cultural organisations from across Europe are involved in this project.

This is the first call organised in Novi Sad that promotes mobility of cultural workers and it is part of a broader strategy of internationalisation of cultural scene carried out by the ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation.
