On Saturday, 7 October 2017, within the Lorist tourism fair in Novi Sad, the ‘Hello’ magazine promoted its special edition – Your personal luxury guide to the European Capital of Culture 2021.
The tourist guide on 188 pages, filled with great photos and interesting texts, features people who left their mark in the history of Novi Sad, especially in the field of culture, tourist attractions, cultural and historical sights, as well as hidden places that you can visit, both in the city and in the surrounding area. A lot of space is dedicated to famous citizens of Novi Sad, and there is an interesting text about Borivoj Mirosavljević, legendary photographer, who spoke at the promotion of the magazine. Mr Mirosavljević is a walking encyclopaedia of Novi Sad events, and both witness and keeper of moments that are important for Novi Sad. Branislav Knežević, director of the Tourist Organisation of Novi Sad, stressed that the intention of the TONS was to provide tourists with good information and advice so that they could plan their stay in Novi Sad better and see as many of the locations as possible. In the following month, the guide for capital of culture will be available in every hotel room in the city and it will be available for tourists arriving by river boats.
The magazine also gives a short history of Novi Sad, mentions theatres and stars of the scene in Novi Sad, museums, galleries and the most beautiful pictures that can be seen. Part of the space was given to the description of the gastronomic offer with several recipes of typical Novi Sad dishes. Stressing that Novi Sad is the city of festivals, there is also a guide for music events that make us proud, with picture story about creation and development of the Exit Festival that influenced the trends, emergence and development of other important events, and created a new image of Novi Sad as a regional capital of festivals.
The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation is proud that the title was inspiration and cause to design this promotional material that raises tourist capacities and contributes to the image of our city.
