Within promotion of the candidacy of the City of Novi Sad for the European Capital of Culture in 2021, there will be series of activities organised in order to inform wider public about this important process for the City of Novi Sad.

For this purpose, on Saturday, 27 June, Novi Sad Nonet, which gathers the best male professional signers, will perform at unusual locations – at Novi Sad green markets. This nine-member ensemble will perform old songs in new arrangements. At 11:00 a.m. they will perform at the Satelit Green Market, later that day at 12:00 p.m at the Futoška Green Market, and the last performance will be at 13:00 p.m. at the Liman Green Market.

In this way we want to stress the importance of bringing cultural contents closer to all citizens of Novi Sad and remind them of creative-artistic potential of our city.

We would like to invite all interested citizens and guests to take a stroll to the nearest green market and participate in this extraordinary event, in order to inform themselves about the candidacy of the city for this prestigious title.
