The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation seeks eight candidates who are active on the cultural-artistic scene in the field of managing cultural events, in order to create strong management support for the upcoming European Capitals of Culture.

The ‘Novi Sad 2021’ Foundation launches the public call for applying to the ‘Lab for European Project Making’, designed for developing and strengthening skills of professionals, in cooperation with the European Capitals of Culture Timișoara 2021 and Rijeka 2020. Project partners are Matera 2019, Plovdiv 2019, and Eleusis 2021. The goal is to significantly increase the capacity of future capitals of culture for conceiving, financing and implementing large-scale European cultural projects.

The open call lasts until 15 August (by midnight), and the results of the call will be notified by 15 September 2017.

Some of the main topics that the future producers will encounter are: financing international cultural projects, producer planning, managing projects, and working with audience. The ‘Lab for European Project Making’ programme will be continuously implemented by 2019.
