Today, within the Danube Festival, a Youth Camp in Ulm and Neu-Ulm was organised, attended by circa 100 young people from the Danube Region countries. The participants of the Camp visited also the presentation of Novi Sad in Edwin Scharff Haus. This was a chance to get to know Novi Sad and rich cultural offer, and they were especially interested in famous Novi Sad festivals which were also promoted within Novi Sad pavilion.
The importance of these appearances abroad for Novi Sad, both for the candidacy for the European Capital Culture in 2021 and for tourism, was stressed by the associate of the Cultural Centre of Novi Sad, Jelena Stevanović, the coordinator of the presentation of Novi Sad at the Danube Festival.
Today was a fantastic day in our exhibition space. We were especially proud when a visitor of our pavilion told us that he booked a flight for Serbia and that he will spend a week in Novi Sad in September.
